Strategies
Six ways we invest.
We invest across the capital structure and throughout the life of a company. Each strategy has a dedicated team and its own underwriting standards, and all answer to a single investment committee.
Pre-IPO & Growth Equity
Minority and significant-minority positions in established private companies that are two to four years from a public listing or strategic exit.
- Typical commitment
- US$5 million to US$40 million
- Holding period
- 3 to 7 years, often through and beyond listing
Listed Equities
A concentrated portfolio of publicly listed companies across Asia, held with an owner's mindset over a multi-year horizon.
- Typical commitment
- US$3 million to US$50 million per position
- Holding period
- Indefinite; reviewed against the thesis, not the calendar
Private Credit & Structured Finance
Senior and structured lending to mid-market companies and asset owners where banks are slow, constrained or absent.
- Typical commitment
- US$5 million to US$30 million
- Holding period
- 12 to 48 months

Direct ownership of income-producing property and infrastructure-like assets, held for long-term cash yield and the preservation of capital.

Special Situations
Complex, time-sensitive or misunderstood opportunities in which flexible capital and careful analysis are the advantage.

Portfolio construction
How the strategies fit together.
The strategies are not silos. A pre-IPO position often becomes a listed equities holding once the company floats. A credit facility to a business we know may lead to an equity investment when it next raises capital. A growth investment in a founder-led company can mature into a permanent strategic holding.
Real assets and strategic holdings anchor the portfolio with durable income. Listed equities and credit provide liquidity and flexibility across the cycle. Pre-IPO, growth and special situations are where the firm’s expertise and flexibility earn the highest returns.
The investment committee sets concentration limits across strategies, sectors and geographies and reviews the whole portfolio quarterly. The objective is a portfolio that compounds steadily, survives any single adverse outcome and is always positioned to act.
